I’m adding another recipe to my collection of ‘ things to make with kefir or yogurt‘. Blood orange chia pudding is a very simple, filling and fun meal that can easily perform as dessert.
I’m on a good streak with my kefir production, thanks to Yemoos kefir grains, and my beloved Viili yogurt doesn’t forget to thrive either. So now you know my reason for some of the recent posts of smoothie and more smoothie.
Chia seeds are extremely nutritious. They are full of antioxidants, and are higher in protein than most other plant foods. They are very high in fiber, and don’t raise blood sugar making them a good choice for people with diabetes. Their fiber is also a perfect fuel for the gut bacteria. Healthy gut flora is important for reducing inflammation in the body.
